Mod Podge Fabric Mirror
Attention all who claim they don't have a crafty bone in their body THIS CRAFTS FOR YOU!
This is a no-skill-required craft.
Here's what you'll need:
Mirror or Picture frame (I got mine from IKEA for $3)
Mod Podge (Mine is the "gloss" kind)
Paint brush or sponge brush
Different fabrics cut into small pieces
Brush on a coat of Mod Podge and place fabric down immediately after.
To eliminate hassle just place the fabric up to the edge of the wood instead of trying to tuck it over the little frame edge.
Make sure you leave enough fabric overhang so you can fold it over the side.
Just like you did on the front do the same to the back to apply fabric over the sides.
You can see that I failed to put enough fabric overhang here.
Once that bottom coat of Mod Podge is dry you can add the top coat directly on top of the fabric.
Let it dry and there you have it! What a cute little accent!
I added a felt flower to my frame with a cute little button in the middle.
To see how I made the flower follow this link.

Happy Crafting!

ReplyDeleteHi! I didn't even know it had a "word verification" step...I'll look into removing it as I know it can be annoying :) Thanks!
